Adams found transformation in his life through a 12-step spiritual program, connecting him to a power beyond himself. This experience has reignited his life, and he is deeply driven to share this journey with others, considering it the highlight of his existence today.

Throughout his struggle with addiction, Adams attended 17 rehabilitation centers, encountering many prestigious “treatment center models” which, unfortunately, did not work for his chronic addiction. It wasn't until he arrived in Texas in late 2015 that he truly discovered the foundational principles of the 12-step process, despite having attended other programs claiming to be based on these steps.

While undergoing treatment, Adams experienced a spiritual awakening, inspiring him to return to his hometown with the aim of sparking a movement of enthusiasm for this life-changing process. He had always envisioned what Impact could achieve, and not only has that vision been realized, but it has also grown into something far beyond his original expectations.

Raised in Mountain Brook, Adams completed his education at MBHS in 2005, and later earned a degree in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama. Before founding Impact, he gained experience in finance, business development, and the substance abuse sector.

Currently residing in Birmingham with his wife and two sons, Adams enjoys sports, outdoor activities, exercise, music, culinary experiences, and cherishing time with family and friends. Above all, he is passionate about assisting addicts and alcoholics trapped in the relentless cycle of addiction.
